Form, cast and pigment, built to last.
We carve statuary in stone, cast in bronze, and create bas-relief murals on plaster — for private residences, temples, institutions, and public spaces. Handcrafted by Manoj Kumar and the artisans at Mahadev Murti Studio, Batala.

Four materials, one hand.
Every commission begins with a material honest to its setting — stone for permanence, bronze for gesture, fresco for light.

Each piece is logged by material, year, and sequence — the same system used in the studio ledger. Photographs to be added as commissions are documented.
From brief to installation.
A commission moves through four fixed stages, regardless of scale — this order is fixed for structural and curing reasons, not convention.
Brief & Site Study
Scale, material, load, and setting are assessed on site or from architectural drawings before any design work begins.
Maquette
A small-scale study is sculpted for approval of form, proportion, and finish before full fabrication begins.
Fabrication
Carving, casting, or painting proceeds at full scale in the studio, with progress documented at each stage.
Installation
Delivery, mounting, and final finishing are completed on site, with structural sign-off where required.
